Gallery: BHS celebrates Anything But a Backpack Day
This past Friday was the finale to BHS’ spirit week: Anything But a Backpack Day. Students carried their belongings using everything from commonplace items such as tote bags, suitcases, and buckets, to some that raised eyebrows: coolers, desk drawers, guitar cases, trash cans, a toy treasure chest, and more. The truly attention-catching backpack alternatives included shopping carts (both kid-sized and full-sized), a microwave, a toy baby carriage, a dog cage, and even a wheelbarrow.
