Gallery: Diversity Assembly returns to Beaverton
Beaverton’s last Diversity Assembly was before Spring Break in 2019, and the school was eager to see it return this year after a pandemic-induced hiatus. This year’s theme was “You Are Loved” or “Eres Amado,” and junior Emile Bejarano and senior Wendy Espindola served as emcees. Performances included the after-school Jazz Band, singing by the choir as well as individual students, baile folklorico, and nunchucks by senior Miani Koga.
The parade of flags started off the assembly.
