National Coming Out Day is upon us again, with the entire LGBTQIA+ public coming together in recognition of our community.

Every year, Pride Northwest comes to Portland in celebration of the community’s LGBTQ+, with thousands joining in. Featuring booths and vendors from 150 various organizations and business filling up Tom McCall Waterfront Park, the city became a rainbow for the weekend.

Mental illness is an aspect of human nature, both ignored and normalized, especially in the entertainment industry.
